The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Friday that the club has signed S Reshard Langford to the 53-man roster from Philadelphia’s practice squad.

Langford (6-1, 213) spent the first 15 weeks of the season on the Philadelphia practice squad after entering the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Eagles in 2009. He was a four-year starter at Vanderbilt, recording 247 tackles with 16 for loss and 11 INTs. He earned all-state honors as a senior at Tanner High School in Tanner, Alabama.
